Books, books, and more books! Fall 2025 Edition

Check out our self-published books!

Explore the Creative Journey: ART2830 - Digital Photo II

For anyone curious about the transformative work we do in ART2830 - Digital Photo II (and our advanced courses ART2840, 2850, 2855), I'm excited to share our latest additions to the collection of artist monographs and photobooks we've been building over the past 2 decades.

I am continually inspired by the students who complete this course—their dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm shine through in every project. These books stand as powerful testaments to their commitment to the creative process and their sustained exploration of meaningful ideas. It's an incredible honor to witness each body of work evolve throughout the semester.

The Process: Students dedicate nearly two-thirds of the semester to developing a cohesive body of work that researches and investigates a topic of their choosing. Everything that the student needs to know about their work is in the work and the portfolios begin to lead the creators. Together, we work through the process of organizing, shaping, and laying out their photographs into compelling book formats. Projects are published through Blurb.com or, depending on the student's vision, hand-crafted as unique artist books.

See below for information on current and past student books.
