If you documented your mentors in terms of lineage we would all have a family tree of our educational intersections. To some these connections are mediocre. To me they carry some serious weigh and many hard earned lessons. Point being, we all are standing on the shoulders of giants, which are actually someone else's ideas, dialogue that we have with the work or existence of other creators. However you choose to think about your past influences and gifts, this is one of my favorite giants to reference, my photo father, Stan Strembicki.
